California produces more agricultural value than any other state, and the Central Valley — from Sacramento south through the San Joaquin Valley — dominates the state's farm equipment economy. Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and stone fruit anchor Tulare, Fresno, Kern, and Stanislaus counties. Salinas Valley lettuce and Imperial Valley produce extend the year-round growing season. Sonoma and Napa run premium wine grapes. North coast dairy and Sierra foothill cattle round out a state with farming at every scale.
Equipment donations from California reflect the state's diversity. John Deere row crop and high-clearance tractors come in from the San Joaquin and Salinas valleys. New Holland self-propelled equipment and Case IH high-horsepower tractors are common from large-acreage operations. Kubota and John Deere compact tractors arrive from orchards and vineyards, often with specialty attachments. Vintage Ford, Massey Ferguson, and Farmall tractors from California's smaller historic farms come in regularly.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from California is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across California's farming regions. Central Valley coverage includes Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Fresno, Visalia, and Bakersfield. Salinas, Watsonville, and the Central Coast are routine routes. Imperial Valley pickup runs through El Centro and the Yuma-adjacent counties. North coast routes cover Sonoma, Mendocino, and Humboldt. Lowboy transport handles the larger row crop equipment; flatbed serves the orchard, vineyard, and dairy categories.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the California donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
