The short answer is "almost everything agricultural" — but donors call us with the same specific questions, so this guide breaks down each category of equipment we accept, with notes on common scenarios.

Farm tractors

Row crop, utility, and orchard tractors of every size are accepted. There is no horsepower minimum or maximum — donations range from 18 HP compacts to 500+ HP four-wheel-drive articulated tractors. Common categories include:

Compact and sub-compact tractors

The most common donations by volume — small tractors used on hobby farms, equine operations, vineyards, orchards, and acreages. Brands frequently donated include Kubota, John Deere (1, 2, 3, 4-series), Mahindra, Yanmar, Kioti, LS, New Holland Boomer and Workmaster, Massey Ferguson 1500/1700-series. Donations often include attachments — loaders, mower decks, backhoe attachments, snow blades.

Riding mowers and lawn/garden tractors

Lawn and garden tractors, zero-turn mowers, and estate-grade mowers are all accepted as donations. John Deere (LX, X, S-series), Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Simplicity, Gravely, Toro, Kubota lawn tractors, Troy-Bilt. Common scenarios: estate cleanout, upgrading equipment, retired groundskeeping operations.

Combines and harvesters

Grain combines, corn heads, grain heads, and other harvesting equipment are accepted. John Deere combines (9000-series, S-series, X9), Case IH Axial-Flow, New Holland CR/CX, Gleaner, Massey Ferguson. Combine donations often include multiple heads — corn head plus grain head — and all components travel together when possible. Combine pickups are routine in the corn and wheat belts: Iowa and Kansas see significant combine donation volume, but we coordinate transport from any state.

Skid steers, compact track loaders, and front-end loaders

Skid steer loaders (Bobcat, Case, John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, Caterpillar), compact track loaders, and stand-alone front-end loaders are all accepted. Skid steer attachments (bucket, forks, augers, sweepers) travel with the donation. These compact machines are popular donations from construction, landscaping, and farming operations.

Implements and attachments

Three-point and pull-type implements donated alongside a tractor are accepted at no extra cost. Common implements:

If you have a barn full of implements alongside the tractor, mention it on the donation form — multi-piece pickups are common.

Specialty agricultural equipment

Less-common equipment we've accepted: tobacco setters, peanut diggers, cotton pickers and strippers, potato harvesters, sugar beet harvesters, hay cubers, irrigation pivots (sections only, not active systems), grain carts, gravity wagons, manure spreaders, and forage harvesters. State-specific specialty equipment is routine — Wisconsin dairy equipment, Texas cotton equipment, North Carolina tobacco implements all come through.

What we generally don't accept

A short list of things outside the donation program:

Everything else, we'll evaluate. If you're unsure, call 1-888-324-2772 and describe what you have. The intake team has seen most things.

Condition: every level accepted

Running, not running, stuck, stripped, or sitting in a hedge — condition does not disqualify a donation. The auction market accepts equipment across the entire spectrum, from parade-ready vintage tractors to parts-only basket cases. The only logistical requirement is that the equipment be accessible to our hauler. If a tractor is 200 feet from the nearest tractor trail, we coordinate winching or alternate access — but we need to know in advance.
