Florida agriculture extends well beyond citrus. The Lake Okeechobee region — Palm Beach, Hendry, and Glades counties — runs one of the largest sugarcane operations in the country. Central Florida's citrus belt remains substantial through Polk, DeSoto, and Hardee counties despite recent challenges. The Panhandle counties of Jackson, Holmes, and Washington run row crops and timber. Cattle ranching across the central state and vegetable production in Homestead and the Glades round out a diverse farming economy.
Tractor donations from Florida reflect the specialty crop mix. New Holland sugarcane harvesters and large Case IH tractors come in from Glades-region operations. John Deere row crop tractors and combines arrive from Panhandle grain farms. Kubota and Mahindra compact tractors are common from cattle ranches, citrus groves, and the smaller diversified farms across the state. Vintage Ford and Massey Ferguson tractors from longtime Florida operations accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Florida is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across Florida. Panhandle routes include Pensacola, Tallahassee, Panama City, and Marianna. Central Florida coverage runs through Ocala, Lakeland, Orlando, and Lake City. South Florida pickup includes Belle Glade, Clewiston, Immokalee, and the Homestead area. Coastal and inland operations both accessible — flatbed and lowboy transport sized to equipment.
