Iowa leads the United States in corn, soybean, hog, and egg production. The state's farming economy is built on row crop agriculture from edge to edge — Story, Hamilton, Hardin, and Wright counties in the heart of the state, the Loess Hills along the Missouri River, and the eastern bluffs along the Mississippi. Dairy concentrates in northeast Iowa around Dyersville and the Allamakee County hills. Hog and egg operations integrate with the corn and soybean economy across the state.
Tractor donations from Iowa are dominated by John Deere — high-horsepower row crop tractors, combines, and self-propelled equipment from operations of every size. Case IH equipment runs second in donation volume, with the older Magnum, Maxxum, and 9000-series tractors coming in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, Oliver, and Massey Harris tractors from Iowa's farming heritage are accepted on the same terms. Even non-running equipment that's sat in a grove for 20 years is welcome.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Iowa is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across every Iowa region. Central Iowa routes include Des Moines, Ames, Marshalltown, and Newton. Eastern Iowa coverage runs through Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Davenport, and Dubuque. Western Iowa pickup includes Sioux City, Council Bluffs, and Carroll. Rural pickup is routine — Iowa's grid road system and our lowboy and flatbed fleet handle any location accessible by truck.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the Iowa donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
