Maryland agriculture splits across distinct regions. The Eastern Shore — Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, and Worcester counties — runs the state's largest grain operations alongside the integrated broiler poultry industry of the Delmarva Peninsula. Central Maryland supports dairy through Frederick and Carroll counties. Southern Maryland's tobacco heritage has given way to grain and equine operations. Western Maryland's mountain counties run cattle, hay, and Apple Belt orchards in Washington and Garrett counties.
Tractor donations from Maryland commonly include John Deere row crop tractors and combines from Eastern Shore grain operations, Case IH equipment from the larger Delmarva farms, and Kubota compact tractors from poultry farms and smaller operations. New Holland balers and Massey Ferguson tractors come in from central Maryland dairy country. Vintage Farmall and Ford tractors from Maryland's historic farms accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Maryland is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates pickup across Maryland. Eastern Shore routes include Salisbury, Easton, Centreville, and Pocomoke. Central Maryland coverage runs through Baltimore, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Westminster. Southern Maryland pickup includes Annapolis, La Plata, and Leonardtown. Western Maryland routes extend to Cumberland and Oakland. Flatbed and lowboy transport sized to equipment.
