Minnesota ranks among the top U.S. corn, soybean, dairy, and sugar beet producers. The Red River Valley running through Polk, Norman, Clay, and Wilkin counties produces a major share of the nation's sugar beet crop alongside wheat and soybean. Southern Minnesota's corn belt runs through Faribault, Martin, Jackson, and Nobles counties. Stearns and Morrison counties anchor one of the densest dairy regions in the country. AGCO's manufacturing operations in Hutchinson contribute to the state's deep equipment heritage.
Tractor donations from Minnesota commonly include John Deere and Case IH row crop tractors and combines from the southern corn belt, AGCO and Massey Ferguson equipment from operations that prefer those brands, and New Holland dairy and silage equipment from Stearns County country. Red River Valley sugar beet harvesters from John Deere and Case IH come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, and Minneapolis-Moline tractors from Minnesota's farming heritage accepted on the same terms.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Minnesota is accepted β running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across Minnesota. Southern corn belt routes include Rochester, Mankato, Albert Lea, and Worthington. Twin Cities and central Minnesota coverage includes Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, and Brainerd. Red River Valley pickup runs through Moorhead, Crookston, and East Grand Forks.
