Montana is one of the nation's leading wheat states and a major cattle producer. The Golden Triangle of north-central Montana — Hill, Liberty, Toole, and Pondera counties — produces a substantial share of the state's spring and winter wheat. Eastern Montana counties run wheat, barley, and the cattle operations that span enormous acreages. The Flathead and Bitterroot valleys in the western mountains support cherry, apple, and small grain operations. The Yellowstone Valley adds sugar beet, corn, and irrigated specialty crops.
Tractor donations from Montana commonly include John Deere combines and Case IH wheat tractors from the Golden Triangle and eastern wheat country, alongside New Holland balers and hay equipment from cattle operations across the state. Massey Ferguson tractors from older Montana farms come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, Oliver, and Minneapolis-Moline tractors from Montana's homesteading heritage accepted on the same terms as modern equipment. Equipment that's sat through 30 Montana winters still welcome.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Montana is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates Montana pickup across the state. Golden Triangle routes include Great Falls, Havre, Conrad, and Cut Bank. Eastern Montana coverage runs through Billings, Glendive, Sidney, and Miles City. Western Montana pickup includes Missoula, Kalispell, Helena, and Bozeman. Flathead and Bitterroot valley access is routine. Lowboy transport handles wheat country combines; flatbed serves smaller equipment.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the Montana donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
