Nevada agriculture is small in acreage but distinctive in product. The state produces some of the highest-quality alfalfa hay in the country, much of which is exported to dairy operations across the West and overseas. Lyon County's Lahontan Valley anchors hay and dairy operations. Northern Nevada's Humboldt, Elko, and White Pine counties run major cattle ranches across high desert range. Mason Valley and the Carson Valley support smaller diversified farming and some specialty crops.
Tractor donations from Nevada commonly include John Deere and New Holland balers and hay tractors from the alfalfa country — Nevada hay equipment is some of the most heavily used in the country given the multiple cuttings per season. Case IH and John Deere tractors from cattle ranches across the northern counties are routine donations. Vintage Massey Ferguson, Ford, and Farmall tractors from longtime Nevada operations accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Nevada is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates Nevada pickup across the state. Western Nevada routes include Reno, Carson City, Fallon, and Yerington. Lahontan Valley and Lyon County coverage is routine. Eastern and northern Nevada pickup includes Elko, Winnemucca, Ely, and Battle Mountain. Southern Nevada coverage extends through Las Vegas, Pahrump, and Mesquite. Flatbed and lowboy transport across Nevada's long distances and varied roads.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the Nevada donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
