New Jersey is famously the Garden State, and its agriculture combines specialty crops with dense row crop production in the southern counties. Burlington, Atlantic, and Ocean counties produce one of the nation's largest blueberry crops alongside the Pinelands cranberry bogs. Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties run vegetables, peaches, and row crops on the Delaware Bay coastal plain. The northern counties support dairy, equine, and nursery operations. Sussex County's Highlands run cattle and hay alongside the smaller specialty farms.
Tractor donations from New Jersey skew toward Kubota and John Deere compact and utility tractors common in nursery, blueberry, cranberry, and orchard operations. New Holland equipment from larger South Jersey vegetable and row crop farms is routinely donated. Massey Ferguson tractors from Sussex County hay operations come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Ford, and Oliver tractors from longtime New Jersey farms accepted on the same terms. Specialty attachments for blueberry and cranberry operations are noted with donations.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from New Jersey is accepted β running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates pickup across New Jersey. South Jersey routes include Vineland, Hammonton, Salem, and Bridgeton.
