North Dakota leads U.S. production of spring wheat, durum, sunflowers, dry edible beans, canola, and flaxseed. The Red River Valley running through Cass, Traill, Grand Forks, and Walsh counties produces sugar beets, wheat, and soybeans on some of the most productive farmland in North America. The Drift Prairie and Missouri Coteau add wheat, barley, and the cattle operations spanning the western counties. The Badlands and southwestern counties run primarily cattle and small grain.
Tractor donations from North Dakota heavily feature John Deere combines from the wheat and small grain country — particularly the older 9000-series and S-series machines retired from harvest. Case IH high-horsepower tractors and Steiger four-wheel-drives come in from large operations across the state. AGCO and Massey Ferguson equipment from the older corn belt-adjacent farms accepted. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, John Deere, and Minneapolis-Moline tractors from North Dakota's homestead-era farming heritage are accepted on the same terms.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from North Dakota is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates pickup across North Dakota. Red River Valley routes include Fargo, Grand Forks, Wahpeton, and West Fargo. Central North Dakota coverage runs through Jamestown, Valley City, and Devils Lake. Western North Dakota pickup includes Bismarck, Mandan, Dickinson, and Williston. Badlands and southwestern routes extend through Watford City and Bowman. Lowboy transport for the large equipment common in the state.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the North Dakota donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
