Ohio agriculture spans from Lake Erie's specialty crops south to the Ohio River bottomlands. The northern counties — Wood, Hancock, Putnam, and Henry — run heavy row crop operations alongside the historic Maumee Valley vegetable industry. Western Ohio's corn belt counties include Mercer, Auglaize, and Darke. Northeast Ohio supports dairy, particularly through Wayne and Holmes counties where the Amish farming community operates substantial dairy and produce operations. Southern Ohio adds tobacco, cattle, and hay across the Appalachian foothills.
Tractor donations from Ohio commonly include John Deere row crop tractors and combines from corn belt operations, Case IH equipment from larger farms, and New Holland tractors and balers from northeast Ohio dairy country. Massey Ferguson tractors from the Amish farming communities and smaller diversified operations come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Oliver, and Allis-Chalmers tractors from Ohio's deep farming heritage accepted on the same terms as modern equipment. Compact Kubota tractors from southern Ohio cattle farms common as well.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Ohio is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across Ohio. Northern Ohio routes include Toledo, Findlay, Lima, and Mansfield. Western Ohio corn belt coverage includes Sidney, Greenville, and Celina. Northeast Ohio dairy and Amish country pickup runs through Wooster, Millersburg, and Mount Hope. Central Ohio coverage includes Columbus, Marion, and Newark. Southern Ohio pickup extends through Athens, Marietta, and Portsmouth. Lowboy and flatbed transport throughout.
