Oregon agriculture is among the most diverse in the United States. The Willamette Valley produces premium wine grapes, hazelnuts, hops, grass seed, and nursery stock — Marion and Yamhill counties lead the state's nursery industry. The Columbia Plateau counties of Umatilla, Morrow, and Sherman run dryland wheat and irrigated row crop. Southern Oregon's Klamath Basin supports potatoes and hay. Eastern Oregon cattle ranches span the Harney and Malheur county high desert. Pacific Northwest dairy operations concentrate in the Tillamook coastal region and the Willamette Valley.
Tractor donations from Oregon include New Holland equipment common across Willamette Valley nursery and grass seed operations, John Deere combines and Case IH wheat tractors from the Columbia Plateau, and Kubota and Mahindra compact tractors from vineyards and smaller farms. John Deere and New Holland dairy equipment from Tillamook and Willamette Valley operations come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Massey Ferguson, and Ford tractors from Oregon's longtime farms accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Oregon is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across Oregon. Willamette Valley routes include Portland, Salem, Eugene, Corvallis, and McMinnville.
