Utah agriculture is concentrated along the Wasatch Front and in the productive valleys flanking the Wasatch Range. Cache Valley anchors one of the densest dairy economies in the West. Utah County and the Wasatch Front support orchards, vegetables, and dairy. Sanpete and Sevier counties in central Utah run hay, cattle, and turkey operations. The southern counties — Washington and Iron — add smaller specialty farming. Eastern Utah's Uintah Basin supports cattle and hay on high desert range. The Box Elder County agricultural country adds row crops and the historic dryland wheat farms.
Tractor donations from Utah include New Holland balers and hay equipment from the alfalfa and hay country, John Deere and Case IH tractors from Cache Valley dairy and Wasatch Front operations, and Massey Ferguson tractors from smaller central Utah farms. Compact Kubota tractors from orchards, vineyards, and smaller cattle operations are routinely donated. Vintage Farmall, Ford, and Allis-Chalmers tractors from Utah's pioneer-era farming heritage accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Utah is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
