Washington's Yakima Valley apple orchards, Palouse wheat country, Columbia Basin row crops, and Pacific Northwest dairy operations produce tractor donations supporting U.S. veterans through Salute Veterans Inc. Free statewide pickup.

Washington leads the United States in apple production and runs one of the most diverse specialty crop economies in the country. The Yakima Valley anchors apples, hops, cherries, and concord grapes — Yakima, Benton, and Grant counties produce most of the state's tree fruit. The Palouse country of southeast Washington — Whitman, Spokane, and Garfield counties — runs dryland wheat, barley, and lentil on some of the most distinctive farming landscape in North America. The Columbia Basin supports irrigated row crops, dairy, and the potato industry. The Skagit and Snohomish valleys add specialty produce and dairy.
Tractor donations from Washington reflect the state's diversity. John Deere combines and Case IH wheat tractors come in from the Palouse country. New Holland self-propelled equipment and Case IH high-horsepower tractors are common from Columbia Basin row crop operations. Kubota compact tractors arrive from Yakima Valley orchards, vineyards, and specialty crop operations. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, Oliver, and Massey Harris tractors from Washington's farming heritage accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Washington is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org runs pickup across Washington. Yakima Valley routes include Yakima, Wenatchee, Pasco, and Kennewick. Palouse country coverage runs through Pullman, Colfax, and Walla Walla.
