Wyoming agriculture is built on cattle and hay. The state's vast ranches run cattle across enormous acreages of high desert and mountain range — Carbon, Sweetwater, and Fremont counties measure ranches in square miles rather than acres. The Big Horn Basin in north-central Wyoming runs sugar beet, barley, and hay alongside the cattle operations. Goshen and Platte counties in southeast Wyoming support irrigated row crops and dairy along the North Platte River. The Star Valley and Bear River area in western Wyoming add smaller dairy and hay operations.
Tractor donations from Wyoming include New Holland balers and hay tractors common across the state's hay-intensive ranching economy. John Deere and Case IH tractors from Big Horn Basin row crop and sugar beet operations are routinely donated. Massey Ferguson and Ford tractors from longtime Wyoming ranches and dairy operations come in regularly. Vintage Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, Oliver, and Minneapolis-Moline tractors from Wyoming's homestead and ranching heritage accepted on the same terms as modern equipment.
From large row crop tractors to compact utility units, combines to skid steers, every type of agricultural equipment donated from Wyoming is accepted — running or not, with attachments or bare, stored in a field or in a barn.
TractorDonations.org coordinates Wyoming pickup across the state. Southeast Wyoming routes include Cheyenne, Laramie, Wheatland, and Torrington. Big Horn Basin coverage runs through Cody, Powell, Worland, and Greybull. Central Wyoming pickup includes Casper, Riverton, and Lander. Western Wyoming routes extend through Jackson, Pinedale, and Afton. Lowboy transport for the larger equipment common in Wyoming's hay and beet operations; flatbed serves smaller categories.
Call 1-888-324-2772 or use the Wyoming donation form with make, model, year, and a brief description of condition and pickup location. Most donations confirmed quickly.
